Hotter than North Africa

I have been trying to base my painted DAK and glue some British 6 pounders in the garage during the evenings while listening to the awesome What Would Patton Do podcasts, but it has been way too hot lately.  So, I moved my stuff to the dining room table.   I like the atmosphere of the garage, but I get to watch TV in the dining room.  I have also been concentrating on selling some stuff on eBay in anticipation of the new desert terrain coming out next month from Gale Force Nine.

My latest dilemma is as usual, I seem to be paralyzed by a simple decision like what color to paint the base edges...



After some thought I'm leaning towards German Cam. Medium Brown (Vallejo 826) I used on my Pak 38s:

After taking a break from gaming for a few years, I decided recently to take the plunge into Flames of War after eyeing it in the local game store some time ago.  I've always had a thing for North Africa so I thought that would be a good place to start.  Inspired by the many bloggers out there, I thought I would give it a crack and chronicle my hobby.
